Holiday Hanger

Okay ladies, BIG project for spring! One display that showcases 7 holidays and 1 decoration to use everyday. 

This class will be broken up into 4 sessions. In each session we will create 2 words to display on a decorative rod. Class fee is $25.00 per session. 

One side of the blocks will spell out the holiday greeting for one month and on the opposite side, it spells out another. If you're really ambitious you can complete as many sessions as you want. I just stretched it out so it isn't such a financial strain on anyone.

Session 1: "Hugs" and "Easter" (Feb. 4th or 5th)

Session 2: "Lucky" and "USA" (March 4th or 5th)

Session 3: "Family" and "Spooky" (April 1st or 2nd)

Session 4: "Thanks" and "Ho Ho Ho" (May 6th or 7th)

Kit includes class instruction, 23 wood blocks, 42 vinyl letters, 10-12 yards of ribbon, paint, mod podge, paper (excluding paper for the word "FAMILY"), and embellishments for "Hugs" and "USA" words. Paper choices will vary from the sample. First come first choice!

You will need to provide paper for "FAMILY" that matches your decor, paper trimmer, scissors, any extra embellishments to enhance your project (I will have punches for you to use as well as lots of embellishments that you can purchase that day) and a curtain rod of your choice (I purchased mine at wal-mart for $9.97. I believe it was the 24-36 in. size).

The first session will be Friday February 4th between 10:00am and 2:00pm. or Saturday February 5th between 9:00am and 12:00pm.

Great Home Decor Project For the Holidays!!

Join me on December 1st or 2nd to make this adorable holiday sign! Class times for both days are 12-2 p.m or 7-9 p.m

This project has a surprise on the back....not only can you display it during the Christmas Season, but turn it around to show another word. ( I did... I "a heart" U)

Deadline to sign up and pay is November 17th. (I need time to order in some of the products used)

The fee for this class is $35, which includes all the wood,paint,and vinyl for two sets of 3 letter words (i.e. JOY, BOO, CTR, RWH, I"heart" U, or whatever you can come up with! One word for the front and one word for the back. You can choose black paint with cream vinyl or white paint with black vinyl.)

Fun Fall Fair

We had our Fall Fair at church friday. It turned out really great! I was busy making all the booth signs and the Monster Smash sponge throwing game! Lots of work but well worth it...everyone had a blast!

Fall Inspiration via Walmart

I love taking cheap things and making them pretty! I found this plate charger at Walmart and added vinyl letters to add to my Fall Decorations then took styro pumpkins and an old book and decoupaged  (is that how you spell it!) it! Added some ribbons and a fall pick then nestled it in some fall foliage.
There is still time to sign up to make the Pumpkin Trio...I may offer another class next week, cuz this week is really crazy for alot of people. Let me know if you are interested!

Come and spend the evening finishing up any unfinished crafts you have around the house or bring your scrapbook supplies and scrapbook with fellow crafters!  It's always more fun to be creative with a bunch of friends! I will provide Pizza and a fun prize...(Ohh...and we will have to have cake that night! )  I have lots of supplies that I am willing to sell out of my craft room, including several premade scrapbook kits.  Call and reserve a spot soon!

New Class- Pumpkin Trio

It's finally cooling off and feeling like fall!  Join me next week to make these cute pumpkins to add to your fall decorations! Class fee for the set is $15.00 which includes everything to make all three pumpkins.  I added a name tag to one to show that the little pumpkins would make really cute place settings for your Thanksgiving table.  You can order additional mini pumpkins for $5.00 each.  Sign up soon!
